The Bayshill is expected to reopen early next month following the fire it suffered in January.

A planning application (Ref 13/01902) to demolish the Little Owl in Charlton Kings and replace it with 10 houses is being debated by CBC as we go to press. Several of the sub-branch Committee had raised letters of objection to the proposal.

Re-opening after several months is (the former) The St James Hotel – under a new name. The Quaich (pronounced ‘Quake’) will be the town’s first ‘Scottish’ themed pub and will be run by the current licensee of the Adam & Eve, which he’ll continue to manage.

The London Inn at Sixways has closed. It is not known if it’s a permanent closure or if the owners are looking for new tenants.

The new owners of The Fairview (ex Fiery Angel) are currently operating on a rolling monthly tenancy. They hope free use of the upstairs function room will aid community based projects.
