The Salutation have invited their favourite breweries to come down to the Sally and use their new brewery to create a tweaked version of one of their flagship beers.

They will be opening up the brewery for the day so that people can come in, watch them brew and ask questions, like an enhanced “Meet the Brewer”. At the end of the brew there will be a bit of live music and some food. Three weeks or so later, when the beer is ready, they will be putting it on in an exclusive ten cask run only at the Sally. So far, Bristol Beer Factory are coming on Saturday 6th June, Arbor Ales on Sat 15th August, Stuart Howe from Butcombe Bitter on Sat 3rd October and Severn Vale on a date to be confirmed in December.

Bristol Beer Factory are kicking things off with a double-IPA strength version of Independence. There’s more information on this and their other events at http://www.the-sally-at-ham.com/sallyevents/
