The 2017 Cotswold Beer Festival will the 41st making it one of the longest running CAMRA events.
The Vine is transformed into an “outside” venue with fresh turf and straw bales for this three days of live music straddling a number of different genres. Come along and enjoy the extensive range of music, some cask ale (usually three ales available) and help raise money for the charity POD.

The rear garden of the Bayshill is transformed into a beach with 10 tons of sand for this event of family fun including a disco, BBQ and games (presumably including making sand castles!). The pub’s range of cask ales are also available for you to enjoy. See their website www.bayshillcheltenham.co.uk for more details.
A Sunday market operated by the Suffolks Trading Association takes place in Suffolk Square between 11am and 4pm. The Retreat will be open from 12pm with three Real Ales on offer, food available and also has live music (Shanghai Shuffle) between 5pm and 8pm. The pub also hopes to raise funds for the Charity, Maggies.
There are other Sunday Markets in Suffolk Square planned for 27th August and 29th October 2017.
The event gets underway from lunchtime (4th August) with 28 ciders available (list here – cider festival tasting notes).
