South West CAMRA Regional Meeting will be held on Saturday 17th February 2018 at
The Fox and Hounds, 6 Deverill Road, Warminster BA12 9QP,
hosted by Bath & Border Branch.
The pub is 3/4 mile walk from the train station. We will be meeting in the skittle alley.
The October South West Regional meeting will be hosted by the area’s newest branch Tewkesbury
Meeting will take place on Saturday 13th October at Tewkesbury Royal British Legion Club. Start time 1200.
Followed by pub crawl of Tewkesbury for those interested.

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY:
Cheltenham to Plymouth, departing at either 07:26, arriving at 10:26 or 07:52 arriving at 10:45. Please check National Rail enquiries for further details and prices.
Connect with the Plymouth to Gunnislake train at 10:54. Transport will then be provided from Gunnislake Station to the White Hart, Chilsworthy.
The White Hart, Chilsworthy is Kernow CAMRA’s Pub Of The Year. Presentation of POTY Award, followed by a complementary buffet.
THEN VENTURE OUT TO SOME WONDERFUL CORNISH PUBS BY A SERIES OF SHUTTLE BUSES:
Including: The Rising Sun Inn, Gunnislake; The Tamar Inn, Calstock; The Boot Inn, Calstock and the Carpenter’s Arms, Metherell.
We then depart the White Hart at 17:15 by shuttle bus to Gunnislake Station.
Train from Gunnislake Station (17.29) to Plymouth Station (18:14).
The return train from Plymouth departs at 18:25, arriving into Cheltenham at 21:09. Please note, this is the last train of the day!
PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE
To coincide with Bristol and District’s ‘Mild Ale Promotion’ Campaign, the next South West Regional Meeting, hosted by Bristol and District Branch, will be on Saturday 23rd November at the Famous Royal Navy Volunteer in King Street, Bristol BS1, starting at 12.30.
The meeting will be followed by tour of appropriate pubs in Bristol.
It’s about a 20 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads station to the venue, so we’d recommend getting the 10:52 train (arrives 11:38). A day return costs £10.00.
The South West Regional Meeting will take place at the Kings Arms in Swindon on Saturday 15th February at the Kings, 20 Wood Street, Swindon SN1 4AB, starting at 12.30pm.
The Kings will be supplying a buffet for anyone who would like to eat there. The buffet will cost £7.50 per head and should be booked in advance with contact@swindon.camra.org.uk by Monday 10th February. Payment will be collected on the day.
Subject to the lifting of restrictions on gatherings, the June South West Regional Meeting will be hosted by the Somerset Branch and will take place on Sat 13th June at the Wyvern Club, Taunton. 12.30 start.
On the agenda will be the election of the Regional Director for the South West.
Next regional meeting will take place on Saturday 28th November.
Decision on whether this is a virtual meeting via MS Teams or face-to-face but
with limited numbers will be made nearer time.
The October South West Regional meeting will once again be a virtual affair.
