In October Cheltenham Ale Amblers will be heading to Lichfield.
We are going on the 10.16 from Cheltenham to Lichfield (changing at Birmingham New Street) and coming back at 18.44 (changing at Birmingham University).
An extra trip this month for the Ale Amblers (and others) visiting the Oxford Beer Festival located in the Town Hall.
Travel will be via Swanbrook coach. The coach leaves at 11 am and the last one back is 6 pm.
The November Ale Amble heads across the Severn to the border town of Chepstow.
We shall be getting the 10.45 train arriving at 11.26. I am aware that the micro pub (Queen’s Head) doesn’t open until 5 pm – however on prior notice we *MAY* be able to get it to open earlier. The train back will be 18.46 or 19.17 – I leave it to you.
In a repeat of last year’s festive trip, the Ale Amble for December will be visiting Birmingham. It will include a visit to The Christmas Market and a warming Gluhwein, before heading to our usual favourite pubs
We will be getting the 10.40 train out (arriving at New Street at 11.25) and the 6.30 pm back. (arriving 7.14 pm) However, we can meet you in Birmingham if you choose another train. Note advance tickets are cheaper than day returns so savings can be made by buying in advance.
